Looking for Solutions to Cat Behavior Problems

Welcome to The Purrfect Cat

help your cat live their best life; Some of the issues Chri

Anxiety

Cats are naturally fearful of new things because they are prey for some other animals.  However, sometimes this fear increases and becomes continual, causing some cats to hide all the time and many other health issues or problem behaviors, such as the one in the following list:

Litterbox and Spraying Issues

It is not normal for a cat to urinate or defecate outside the litterbox.  Spraying and urinating outside the box are different behaviors, and are not done because the cat is mad at it's human!  I can help you find out what drives you cat to this extreme and how you can address their issues.

Aggression

Aggression can be caused by pain, fear or stress.  There are many types of aggression and this behavior needs a full analysis of the cat's environment and schedule to determine what may be causing it.

Scratching

Scratching is a natural behavior in cats and unfortunately, sometimes our nice things pay the price!   There are humane ways to manage scratching on objects not for cats, and training that can be done to direct cats to appropriate scratchers!

Fighting

Determining whether your cats are playing or fighting can be difficult.  Work with a specialist that can review a video of the interactions and analyze the situation to help resolve this distressing behavior.
